SoloAd that didn't do too well
The Opt-in rate was really bad as after these 2 SoloAds, I only got 5 Opt-ins out of almost 2000 people who had seen the Ad. That work out to be about 0.25% and ZERO conversion.
I was disappointed.... how is it that other teammates had so much better conversion rate compare to mine? Obviously, SoloAds does works but why doesn't it works for me?
I realized I've make the following mistakes:
1. Ask the company whether there are similar Ads being placed recently!
Yes... I did not check with the company whether there were any similar Ads that had been shown recently. When I checked with them after the Ad, they told me that had been quite a number such Ads was placed through them recently. THAT'S IT!! Next time around ask the critical question before placing the SoloAd. :)
2. Overused squeeze/sales page!
Yes... you can ask the Customer Service Advisor about the squeeze page that you're going to be showing whether it had been used recently, too. IF same page is used too many times over a short period it sort of dilute the response.
Well.. that's it for today! Learn from my mistakes. If you too had made similar or others mistake do drop me a comment and share with me too.
To your success.

So can you make monies with Affiliate Programs?
So, I looked around an found this from a fellow internet marketer's blog site. Sherman, had done a very good job explaining what is an Affiliate Program. Read-on.
============================================
Affiliate Programs
These are my personal favorite. Because:
- No Website, No Sales Copy, No Product to worry about creating — they’re ALL professionally done and provided for
- Minimum Overheads (instant profits)
- Full Support — training & coaching to help you grow your business fast
With the Product and Website creation out of the way, the ONLY thing for you to do is to get as many people to visit your website as possible. Let the professionally written, tested and proven Sales Copy on YOUR website do the talking.
That’s where Internet Marketing’s Traffic Generation techniques come into action.
Online Affiliate Programs versus Traditional Network Marketing Programs
In his article, “
“Similar to affiliate programs are network marketing opportunities. They operate on the same model — a referral fee for steering someone to an existing business. But network marketing has more complicated compensation plans that reward you more extensively for the efforts of people recruited into your organization. Because of this extra layer of complexity and the extra effort required to build and maintain a growing downline, I highly recommend that you participate in only a single, excellent network marketing opportunity.
Both affiliate programs and network marketing companies base their existence on the concept of rewarding people for their positive word of mouth advertising.
Businesses these days spend up to 50 percent of the price of their goods for advertising and marketing expenses. Instead of sending these advertising dollars to wealthy newspapers, magazines, and television stations, several smart businesses have begun to share this money with their best customers. Every time one of their best customers influences someone to buy products or services, they send this loyal customer a check as a sort of referral fee.
Affiliate programs are all over the Internet. If you visit almost any online e-commerce Web site that sells products, you will often see a link to “Join the affiliate program” or “Earn cash” button. Your challenge isn’t going to be a shortage of affiliate programs, rather, finding the right ones!“
What is Pyramid Scheme?
What makes an organization structure a pyramid and therefore illegal as a system? Look out for these signs:
- No legitimate products or services. In a Network Marketing business, there must be a sale and movement of legitimate products or services. The products must be of value and needed on a consistent basis.
- Over-priced products or services. A pyramid scheme is one where the products often are over-priced and with low perceived value.
- “Head-hunting”. There are no sale of products. These are merely the collection of subscriptions and those involved are paid to recruit others. This is called “head hunting” because the more people you recruit the more you will earn without the sale of legitimate products. In some cases, there may be a one-time over-priced product; such as a diamond ring. This is still “head-hunting”.
- Front-end inventory loading. The system requires members to purchase a large amount of products to start the business. There may be no refunds for the return of products.
No overtaking. This means that those who join later will never be able to earn more and have higher rankings than those who join the business earlier.
What To Look For In An Affiliate Company
Keep in mind these:
- Is this a good company?
- Do they offer a good product with tremendous value?
- Do they have a compensation plan that really makes sense and pays out an above average income?
- Do I have to stock Inventory?
- Will they help me do what I need to do to be successful?
- Will I have a coach … a mentor … someone to help me achieve success?
- Can I trust this organization to be everything I want it to be?
